Press down on the depressed tab between the softener and bleach inserts.
This can cause the dispenser to be full of water and or the detergent does not siphon out.
Detergent can gradually build up in the detergent tray and its attachments over time.
Notice the standpipe in the image below that is circled.
If these are not cleaned regularly the water and additives will not dispense fully and water will remain in the compartments.
There is a cover part key 16 which fits over the standpipe.
The dispenser works on a siphon principle.
See picture below for correct fitting.
If the washer is not level the detergent may not be able to siphon correctly.
This can stop your machine mid cycle.
On newer model washing machines this can be indicated to show there is an issue with the water supply by either a flashing light or a tap symbol.
The load go dispenser is designed to store enough detergent for 20 40 loads of laundry 1 depending on the washer model.
When water is added to dispense the soap softener the fluid goes over the standpipe and starts to drain out.
The load go dispenser featured in select whirlpool washing machines lets you skip adding detergent to every load.
This is common when your appliance is failing to fill when the cycle is on rinse.
Turn the legs on the bottom of the washer to level it.
