At the bottom of the light fixture s light socket is a brass tab.

The new bulbs seem to work for a week or two and then stop turning on.
Replace the light bulb before replacing any of the parts associated with the light bulb.
Then i checked the voltage and got 122 volts.
Then a week later the right one blew again so i took it out and checked for a short by going to each lead and then to ground and no short unit unplugged.
